Validation API

The Validation API lets your system read SpotHero facility and reservation data. You can also receive reservation updates at your own HTTPS endpoint with a webhook.

Use these guides in order when you are setting up an integration:

  1. Get an access token: choose an environment and authenticate with the Validation API.
  2. Find your facilities: get the facility IDs used by other requests.
  3. Create a test reservation: make test data in staging before trying reservation requests.
  4. Keep reservations up to date: load existing data and get later changes.
  5. Find a reservation: search by reservation ID, barcode, or license plate.
  6. Set up webhooks to receive reservation updates sooner. Optional facility and reservation fields are explained on their respective guides.
